Cosa succede se un focoso toro mette incinta una giovane manza in eta' (11 mesi) tutt'altro che 'da marito'? Succede che i due allevatori, proprietari del toro, finiscono sotto inchiesta per danneggiamento di animale. I fatti risalgono all'autunno del 2004 quando un contadino della Valchiavenna si accorse che la sua manzetta aveva il ventre che stava gonfiandosi. Ci volle poco per capire che erano i sintomi della gravidanza. Riusci', quindi, a risalire al momento in cui e' avvenuto il fattaccio, ovvero nel settembre precedente a Madesimo durante un pascolo. Siccome era troppo giovane, la manzetta ha dovuto abortire perdendo anche le capacita' riproduttive. Da qui la denuncia finita sul tavolo del giudice preliminare di Sondrio, Pietro Della Tona che ha assolto i due imputati, 33 e 35 anni di Prata Camportaccio (So) "perche' il fatto non sussiste".
