Decine di migliaia di tentativi al giorno !
Se al posto di usare "admin/admin" usassero "admin/admin123", mi avrebbero gia' r00tato il server

anche tu ricevi tentativi di login con username tipo "samantha" ? io per lo piu' ho nomi femminili UK nell'errorlog

Avevo spesso tentativi che provavano la password di root.
Adesso causa proxy ho spostato l'ssh su porta 443 e praticamente non ho più avuto tentativi di forzatura.
Per pigrizia ancora non configuro l'autenticazione solo con certificato.

  io invece uso denyhosts su suggerimento di wakko e va molto bene
