Give me a break! If you open with an indictment of Italian culture based on some lame analysis of Italian television, then you'd better avoid the same approach with American culture! American television is trash. Even if Italy broadcast soft core pornography 24-7, it wouldn't come close to the violent bile and outright lies that Fox's "family values" clan manages to unleash upon America on a daily basis. And reality TV? The only thing real is the utter boredom that this junk inspires. And you think sexism is an Italian phenomenon? Have you been to a Hooters, an NBA or NFL game lately? We are nothing but a nation of kettles calling all the other pots black.
