Your Drug May Be Your Problem
    Stavo guardando questo libro

    https://www.amazon.com/Your-Drug-May-Problem-Revis...

All I can say is I was validated by this book as I watched in tears, fears and questions as my once almost perfect loving husband became everything he never was. Cold, cruel, forgetful,no empathy,no remorse,no conscience and even explaining and trying to point it out doesn't help. I have lost him. I fear he is gone forever. After 40 years of what was a blessed ( or should have been) life and children and now grandchildren the bizarre and out of character behavior destroyed our lives and that of the whole family. Took me years to figure it out and I had an aha moment that the nightmare started with the psyche drugs. I truly believe he has permanent brain damage. Impossible to have a heart to heart or a reasonable conversation . There is no reasoning nor rational discussion about ANY subject. It has ruined us and the family and our finances. EVERYTHING. SO sad. I blame ALL the shootings on these drugs. Horrible.

I was presribed Valium for 30 years. It's beneficial effects rarely last more than 4 months. But I trusted my doctors. The effects have been devastating and disastrous for me and my family. I have suffered from severe depression for 30 years and finally turned to alcohol to reduce what is commonly called the "Benzo Blues". Valium has also been referred to as "Blue Death". When I questioned one clinic about this drug, the reply was, "We must deal with the depression first!" So they kept me on this dosage for 3 more years while prescribing Prozac. Obviously, this did not help except to deaden my brain worse. So they doubled the Prozac. That did not work. So they quadrupled the Prozac to it's maximum! In desperation, I called my church, and they said to follow my doctor's orders so that I was even more convinced that what I was doing was right. Finally, the climax came and I started going on alcoholic benders to alleviate the depression.

I am a licensed clinical social worker who supervises other clinical social workers in a well-respected Treatment Foster Care program. I know for a fact that psychiatrists often prescribe Ritalin, anti-psychotic drugs and powerful anti-depressants to seven and eight year old children. Once the prescribing begins, it often escalates and rarely does a child get taken off meds. These are not "occasional" psychiatric practices - they are the rule, not the exception, with this population.

This book echoes exactly what I have been seeing with those who take anti-depressants.
And I admit I am upset as I just watched my a grandson by marriage to my granddaughter take his doctor prescribed anti-depressants because he was feeling a little down in the dumps about the responsibilities of life. And now he is jobless, his wife is leaving him, and he is so lonely and depressed. Still taking a mood stabilizer and an another pill to help him get off the anti-depressants.
I told my granddaughter please discourage him from taking anti-depressants having seen people come in a counseling center where I had worked. Those on anti-depressants seemed worse off than those who were not.
You could reason with the ones not on the meds. But the ones on the meds were terrified to come off of them because of the way they felt when they tried to. And they were convinced it was a problem with them ...not with the drugs. Thinking their depression now was just them...not knowing that the meds often result in depression.

As an OCD/anxiety patient who has been through it all. This book is 100% accurate. I have reduced my medication intake by 80% over the past 3 years using the extremely slow taper method. I have never felt better. I applaud the writers of this book for taking the stance they have. I just wish I would've read it years ago. It would've saved me years of misery and discomfort.

This book is a must read for anyone who feels that they need psychiatric care.
Actually, everyone should read this book. Physicians are giving away psychiatric drugs indiscriminately.
I can tell you they just do not care. When I tried to get off of Xanax, I received a letter from my psychiatrist
telling me he no longer wanted me as a patient and told me to go to rehab. This is a psychiatrist with 30 years of experience.

Finally, the climax came and I started going on alcoholic benders to alleviate the depression.

ps: http://www.allarmescientology.it/ forse potrebbe esserti utile.

            https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=dp_byline_sr_book_1?i...
