I am an italian guy and I am 37 years old. I have had health troubles at young age 15-20 and 25-30.
Now I am at 37 and I have few job experiences and I have to fight every day with ageism in accessing job contracts and it seems I have no more hope in my country.
Here in Italy the age limit for entry level workers is 29 wich is called "contratto di apprendistato" then there is a public support for young people up to 29 who are hired for free and they will get salary by the State, then now recently our Governament is making a new law for tax relief of 50% for people under 34; this will lead to make my hiring uneconomical and impossibile.
So for me it's very sad, they are stealing my life, my hope, my future and every day people say to me it's a right thing.
I need your help, maybe you are the unique movement can help me, I wrote to some politicians, but they just ignore me with no reply.
I see everyday people take work instead of me just because they are younger.
If you can help me I need
1) Information about the best countries in the world to move to, without age discrimination in job access and contract, above all for entry level workers.With no tax relief for younger that will lead to unfair competition.
2)A legal support to fight in court all ageist laws for job in my country. I have read that age discrimination is illegal for Treaty of Lisbon wich is a sort of Constitution of Europe.That states at article 21 that age discrimination is illegal.
So it could be possible to appeal at Court of Justice of the European Union.
And at European Court of Human Rights trying to appealing to articles 23 and 3 of Human Rights Declaration.
I don't know if you have a lawyer and have you ever such activism, tell me.
3)Information about legal records about an eventual political asylum in any country of the world about age discrimination in work.I could move everywhere in the world.
4)An eventual aid support to escape from my country and getting hospitality (or a loan) in a country suggested at point 1).
I am just desperate and alone in the world, if you help me I can promise to give you a big legacy, my father is quite rich but he doesn't support me.
