Ho scoperto che non si puo` neanche piu` commentare un video senza iscriversi al loro servizio "pages", con tanto di accettazione dei termini d'uso. Prima si limitavano a chiederlo ogni tanto, tu gli dicevi no e loro rispondevano "we'll ask you later". Adesso capisco perche` hanno aggiornato il sistema dei commenti (tra l'altro in maniera difettosa e mal progettata che ha lasciato perplessi in molti). Non solo il sistema dei commenti fa schifo, ora (non che prima fosse un granche`, ma ora e` anche peggio), ma tra l'altro, cosa molto piu` importante, vogliono legarti ad altri loro prodotti. Be', la mia risposta e` stata questa:

Listen, we don't want to be entangled with other google products when using youtube. I will never agree to pages' terms or whatever else. I will discard my channel and my own account from youtube and migrate to vimeo if you keep this line. I noticed we aren't even allowed to comment now: is that what the "new" comments really were for? To finally convince us to go on with those silly questions about which name to get? Internet existed before you, google. It will go on without you. Stop this or you'll lose at least some people, and however force stuff on the dissatisfied rest. This is not what a good company should do. This was never what a good company should do. I'll give you maybe a few weeks to desist with this strategy. Then I'll terminate all my accounts with you, and publicly suggest friends and more to do the same if they don't like this strategy.

Che se la caghino o meno, se non fanno marcia indietro io chiudo con google su tutti i fronti: youtube, gmail, chrome, e comincero` a scansarlo perfino come motore di ricerca, suggerendo poi a tutti di fare altrettanto. E` da un po' che sono diventati bastardelli, e` stato un imbastardimento progressivo ma inesorabile, e ora sta sfociando nelle pratiche piu` stronze. E` ora che si diano una ridimensionata, hanno rotto il cazzo.
