Quran is the final compilation of God’s commandments.

Quran, as we know it, is the final perfect compilation of Allah’s words of wisdom and it contains everything mankind can know and reflect. If there was a need of revision, we would be expecting another revelation, which in this case is not possible now. As the Quran is the biggest miracle brought by Muhammed pbuh.

It should be said that the Quran is the word of God, at least from the Muslim perspective, if not objectively. Therefore when it “cannot” be changed, how are fallible humans supposed to interfere with the infallible word of God? Where would we even begin with our limited and often one-sided information? Where would we draw the arrogance to even feel that we had some say and we knew what the actual Quran should say.

It was designed by God to always be relevant, and therefore never need changes or updates.

Quran is the Final Word of God. It cannot be revised. It has no capacity to be changed, otherwise it looses its purpose and then will just be another book. The Quran has been created for the entire human race and is created for all times, all humanity, the entire universe.

If one accepts the assumption that the Q'ran was dictated to Mohammed (PBUH) by God Himself, then there is no way to "update" it in the literal sense.
