"Censorship comes in many forms. Although ZDNet censors many of their submissions, the "Astro-terf" process from M$ works in a similar way. M$ shills are paid to post messages to ZDNet forums in an effort to hide, balance, or overwhelm the messages of their detractors. Since many readers would like to hear the positive and want to believe people and companies are generally good, M$ shills can provide enough information to sway public opinion enough so that they bypass any message that may be adversely negative to M$ in any way."
